Sam has been a part of LavaMaeˣ for over five years. She started out as part of a team providing access to mobile showers five days a week throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and is now a Lead Program Consultant. She believes that toilets and showers should be accessible to everyone and that the absence of these essentials further fuels negative stigmas towards those experiencing homelessness. She now uses her expertise and passion to teach communities all over the world how to bring mobile showers and other care essentials to the street with Radical Hospitality as the guiding principal. When she's not working you can find her meaningfully connecting with others, exploring wild outdoors, or escaping the zoomies from her cats.
